Part-time SENCO

Salary:                      Main/Upper Pay Scale depending on experience plus SEN allowance

Contract: Part-time (3 days per week), permanent contract

Start Date:              September 2024

Closing Date:          Friday 19th April 2024 at 12pm

We are looking for a SENCO to join our vibrant nursery school located in Charlton.

Graded as outstanding since 2008, Pound Park has continued to provide quality early years’ education since 1944. The ethos of our nursery school is to offer the best early learning experience for our children as well as exceptional support to all our families.

You will have:

• The National Award for SEN Co-ordination, or a willingness to complete the SEN NPQ qualification within 3 years of appointment
• Substantial and successful teaching experience in the Early Years age range, demonstrating a commitment to Early Years achievement
• A proven track record of supporting children with SEND
• Experience of working with internal and external stakeholders in relation to statutory requirements with SEND pupils
• A commitment to working in partnership with staff, parents and the community to promote inclusion and equity for all
