Job overview
We are currently looking to recruit an outstanding Teaching Assistant to join a school located in Birmingham. This school caters for students with MLD who are 11 to 19 years of age. This school is dedicated to ensuring that all students receive the education that they deserve.
This role will begin as soon as possible and end in July, and will be on a part time basis. You will be expected to work alongside the class teacher, developing students on a 1:1 basis or with small groups. We are ideally looking for a confident individual who has previous experience of working with SEN students.
The ideal candidate –
· Level 2 TA qualification
· Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)
· Build rapport with the children
· In date DBS & on the Update Service
