About The Howard Partnership Trust

The Partnership

The Howard Partnership Trust (THPT) is one of the largest MATs in Surrey with four secondary, six primary academies and three special schools. THPT provides genuinely inclusive, life - changing education for the over 7000 pupils the trust serves across its schools.

In addition to the special schools at THPT, the inclusive ethos of our MAT is deepened by five specialist centres attached to mainstream settings: 3 COIN (Communication and Interaction Needs) Centres, one SLCN Centre at Meadhurst Primary School, and one Visually Impaired Centre at Oxted School.

As a dedicated team and partnership, we are laser-focused on meeting a vast array of needs well, with the highest expectations for all at the same time. We are actively reducing suspension and exclusion whilst increasing standards, and we believe that our approach will ensure that our pupils fulfil their potential during their time with us. THPT aims to bring out the best by providing a rich experience both within and beyond the classroom, enabling all our children to thrive.

At THPT we are passionate about addressing disadvantage and whilst results are currently lower than national in some schools, we have some of the most disadvantaged Surrey schools as part of our family. We are having initial success at raising their achievement, but we are not complacent and accelerating attainment and progress in our schools is essential for the next phase of our development as an organisation.
