We are looking for an exceptional colleague to play an important role in our growing Multi Academy Trust. The successful candidate will be an excellent Teacher of English, Science or Geography, but will play an important pastoral role and who has the ambition to be a future Head of Year within the Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to further develop their career, with excellent development opportunities. The role will be working with an existing strong pastoral team and the position will start in September 2018.
You must have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK, or an equivalent overseas qualification with UK teaching experience. The post would be suitable for teachers on the main and upper pay range.
Having been designated as one of the first 100 Teaching Schools in July 2011 we have a proven history of outreach with other schools, both at a Primary and Secondary level. We are also a school with significant strength in the CPD of staff, developing our teachers for the next stage of their careers. Graded as ‘OUTSTANDING’ by Ofsted in November 2012 for the third consecutive inspection, we are committed to being a centre of innovation, creativity and enjoyment for both students and staff. We are currently involved in the planning and developing of two new schools within the Wildern catchment, a secondary and primary school.
