Carmel College is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic educators with the ability to lead others as a Pastoral House Leader. This is a full-time continuing teaching appointment, with an initial two-year appointment as Middle Leader. Two subsequent three-year appointments as Middle Leader will be offered following a successful performance review.
These Tier 3C roles play a critical role in the college’s vertical pastoral system. An ability to teach Religious Education would be highly advantageous. More information about this ML role is available in the attached Duty Statement.
To be successful in this role you will be able to meet the following criteria:
appropriate qualifications and experience, effective communication skills,
an ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents,
an ability to attend to detail in innovative and creative practices,
and a clear understanding of curriculum and contemporary student wellbeing,
have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education,
hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers, and
be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
