Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Kent Range KR6 (£20,585, actual salary £15,760.55 based on working 39 weeks a year*)
**additional five days paid on claim

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and committed Pastoral Support Assistant to join our highly regarded Inclusion support team within the school.
The successful candidate will work with our well-established Inclusion team and will be responsible for supporting the Heads of Year to achieve high-quality pastoral care of students, enabling students to achieve the highest standards of learning and ensuring that the students are successful, confident and happy. They will also offer medical support, act as DDSL within the school and provide administrative support in meeting the welfare and pastoral needs of students. They will need excellent time management, strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to prioritise duties; they will also need to work on their own initiative whilst working part of a wider team. This position is required from the 19th April 2021; initially located at our Tunbridge Wells site where extensive training will take place, this role will permanently move to our new Sevenoaks site from September 2021. The hours are required to work from 8.30am – 4.30pm, term time only.
