If so, from January / February 2019 we are looking to appoint an outstanding Pastoral Support Officer who can support and inspire students to achieve their full potential. This is an important role within the school community and the Pastoral Team are a central hub within the school. We are looking for a dynamic, creative and energetic person with excellent communication and organisation skills to join the team.

The successful candidate with be required to liaise closely with Pastoral Leaders and under their guidance and support be able to:

· assist in developing intervention programmes

· monitor attendance of students and employ suitable strategies to improve attendance

This is a very rewarding role, requiring excellent communication and organisation skills at all levels. Candidates should be educated to ‘A’ level standard, ideally with a background of working with students and young people. The salary for this post is APT&C Points 19 - 24 which is £19,446p.a. - £23,265p.a. plus London Fringe (actual pro-rata salary range is £16,536pa to £19,784pa + £728pa fringe) Salary offered will depend on skills and experience. The post is for 37 hours per week, term-time + 1 week to include 5 INSET days.
