About the role

The In-house Recruiter, also known as People & Culture Officer (Recruitment), will work collaboratively within the People & Culture Team. Its primary function is to provide end-to-end recruitment services to Hiring Managers located across our system of primary and secondary schools and Early Learning Centres (ELCs), as well as the central office located in Manuka ACT. About you

Known as a creative Recruiter, you will have proven experience in successfully delivering on the recruitment needs of a diverse organisation. You will possess a customer service mentality and enjoy undertaking a variety of recruitment activities. To ensure your success, you will have experience in using a HRIS system to support recruitment activities.


Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience as a Recruiter working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong service focused mentality
  • Professional experience operating in a HRIS system to support recruitment activities, such as PageUp and Empower (both systems experience desirable)
  • Qualifications in Human Resources or equivalent
  • Proven commitment to ensuring the recruitment process is a positive experience for both hiring managers and applicants
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills coupled with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and willing to assist across the People & Culture service area
