We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Performing Arts Technician to join our highly successful Performing Arts department. The successful candidate will support and maintain the technical operations of performing arts, from Nursery through to Sixth Form.
You will utilise your knowledge and experience to facilitate and support our teaching staff in providing students with relevant and effective performing arts experience. Specific responsibilities will focus on supporting performances, shows and concerts with lighting, staging and sound effects, to ensure that productions are delivered efficiently and smoothly.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible, have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across a range of disciplines and divisions within the School. The ideal candidate will have up to date knowledge of all technical aspects of lighting and sound, and will be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience working in a similar role in a school would be beneficial.
This is a part-time role, working approximately one day per week; although flexibility is required, as additional days will be necessary to support shows, concerts and productions.
