Chulmleigh Community College is a high performing, ambitious secondary school well known for exemplary behaviour and conduct. This is a school where teachers focus upon high quality teaching. Our GCSE results are consistently amongst the best in the South West. 

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational LAMDA teacher and coordinator to work alongside our thriving drama department. We are currently able to offer up to two days of teaching speech and drama each week during the school term and there is potential for this time to increase.

Drama is taught at KS3 and KS4 level and individual LAMDA lessons are offered to all ages with the aim of encouraging as many pupils as possible to have the opportunity to participate in drama and performance.  The College offers financial support in order that all pupils can access this provision, should they wish it.

The successful candidate will be expected to plan their own weekly timetable for each half term period, taking into account the availability of pupils. Main duties will include preparing pupils for drama exams and performances. The role will involve completion of all administrative tasks required to support the status of the college as a LAMDA Examinations Registered Centre.

The postholder will liaise with parents regarding payment.
