Start Date: As soon as possible

7.5 hours per week x 38 weeks per year

Salary: Grade 2, point 11-14 £18,357 - £18,657 pro rata (£3,161 - £3,213 per annum, actual salary)

The Head Teacher and Governors wish to appoint 2 x Midday Dinner Assistants to join our enthusiastic and supportive team.

You will also join us at a very exciting time. We have just moved into our new state of the art building (November 2017). and we have just increased to 3 form entry.

The school has also been graded as 'Good' in our last 2 Ofsted inspections (most recently in May 2016).

The successful candidates will need to be enthusiastic, flexible, confident individuals with excellent interpersonal and behaviour management skills to assist and support in the supervision, engagement and development of pupils during lunchtime, under the overall direction of the Senior Midday Dinner Assistant and the Head Teacher.

Their work is primarily to foster good behaviour and participation of all the pupils, but also to promote pupil engagement in active playtimes, and instil high values, good morals and the understanding and respect of others.

This post is exempt from the provision of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and the successful applicant will be expected to undertake an enhanced disclosure.
