Outwood Grange Academy places students at the centre of everything it does, with a focus on creating a culture of success, a positive climate for learning, and increased student attainment, achievement and social and emotional development.

We are looking to recruit a Coordinator to manage the Personal Development Centre (PDC), supporting all students who are referred to this provision. You will be working with students who are at risk of suspension as a result of challenging behaviour by promoting positive discipline and raising their aspirations.

You will be involved in planning, organising and delivering a range of opportunities for students who are referred to the PDC to raise their aspirations and work, develop positive discipline for learning habits, reinforce ‘Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be responsible’ and ensure academic progress. You will also be involved in planning, organising and delivering a range of opportunities for students who are referred to the PDC to work on aspects of their social, emotional and mental health.

The successful candidate must have Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths or equivalent, possess strong IT skills, be a good communicator, approachable and have a positive attitude towards staff and students.
