Are you a Senior Teacher committed to improving the lives of children and young people?


We are looking for an experienced Senior Teacher to join our fantastic team at New Barn School. As a Senior Teacher, you will provide a high-quality education service for our students in accordance with Company policies, procedures and practices and the standards set by the Regulatory Body. You will work with the Head Teacher, leadership team and other stakeholders to secure high standards throughout the school in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.


When it comes to looking after our children, we never settle for second best. We are looking for a Senior Teacher who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.


Educated to Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every child to reach their potential.

New Barn is an Ofsted ‘Good’ rated School. It offers a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum to boys and girls, aged 6 – 19 years who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health complexities. New Barn School takes full advantage of its beautiful settings and fosters a love for using the outdoor curriculum including forest school, farm experiences and horse riding.  The School is within a commutable distance of Swindon, Oxford, Andover, Basingstoke and Reading and other surrounding towns and villages.
