With outstanding facilities, and inspirational and dedicated staff, we seek to appoint an ambitious and creative teacher to join our Science Faculty. The Blandford School has created a supportive and dynamic environment, and has a proven track record for developing and retaining our colleagues into leadership roles. The School is located in the beautiful Dorset countryside and within 30 minutes of beaches and the New Forest National Park.
This role would suit a teacher with experience of teaching across a number of Key Stages, who would relish joining an established and successful team which has consistently improved student outcomes. The successful candidate will lead Physics under the guidance of an outstanding Head of Faculty who will be able to support and mentor the succession candidate towards further career progression. There is the opportunity to teach at all Key Stages within your subject specialism and to develop your skills with bespoke professional development support. For the right candidate there will be the opportunity to pick up an additional whole school responsibility in an area of interest which will be supported both via release time from teaching and financial re-imbursement.
