The College is seeking applications from committed and dynamic teachers who are able to teach Physics across years 7-12. ATAR experience is essential.
Preferred applicants will be experienced and highly professional practitioners who are: passionate about promoting the love of Science and STEM; able to actively engage their students in learning; positive in their willingness to build relationships with students; dynamic in their teaching practice; and proficient in the use of ICT resources to enhance learning.
The successful applicant will be required to be an active participant in developing a cross-curricular approach in the middle school, and demonstrate a willingness to work with leaders and other subject teachers in a Professional Learning Community designed to maximise the opportunities for academic success for all the students they teach.
Teachers are expected to take an active interest in the pastoral welfare of their Homeroom group, supported by the Leadership team, specialist subject teachers and specialist support staff (e.g. College Psychologist, Head of Learning Support, Head of Academic Excellence).
As with all teaching positions at Corpus Christi College, the ability to teach Religious Education would be a distinct advantage, as is the ability to teach in more than one subject area.
Preferred applicants must actively support the Catholic ethos of the College. All staff are expected to be involved in the full life of the College, including extra-curricular activities.
