Would you like to work with children in a fun environment?  

Oaks Academy is looking for enthusiastic Playworkers to work in our successful after school club provision to start ASAP. 

This is currently a fixed term position until 31 August 2019, however there is scope for the successful candidate to make this a permanent position after this date. 

The club provides after school care for the children of both Warren Mead Infant and Junior Schools  And the successful candidate will be available to work 5 days per week.   

You will work alongside the Club supervisor to provide a fun and caring place for our children to come after the school day has ended. The children take part in a wide range of games and activities and have a light tea before being collected and your role will be to make sure they are safe and happy. 

Experience in a similar role and/or playwork qualifications are preferred but not necessary. 

You will need to be willing to undertake first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene training if you have not already done so. An enhanced DBS check will be required.

Closing date: 30th September

Start date: ASAP

Hours: The hours of work are 3.15-6pm Monday to Friday, term time only.

Salary: 16,334-£17,866 FTE. Pro-rata for 5 days £5,181-£5,667.
