Job Description

Our new PLC Coordinator is an individual with high aspirations for students, who is committed, and passionate about learning; who has the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘Students First’.

The role of PLC coordinator will work as part of the Personalised Learning Support and Inclusions team, which is lead by an experienced SENDCO, to promote the Learning and Welfare of vulnerable students and manging the PLC Centre within the Academy.

Managing the PLC Centre will require you to identify and keep records of cohorts of students for the alternative curriculum by liaising with the relevant Learning Managers. You will be required to deliver alternative courses relevant to cohorts of students to provide them with relevant qualifications. 

As well as liaising with parents to improve students’ behaviour, self-esteem, achievement, attainment and aspirations, the PLC coordinator must develop SMART targets and activities to remove barriers to learning.
