South Staffordshire College is looking to appoint a highly skilled, energetic, and enthusiastic teacher into a full time position within our successful plumbing team. Plumbing provision at SSC offers a broad range of full, part time and apprenticeship programmes.The successful candidate will recruit and manage groups of learners, prepare and deliver classes and complete timely assessment work in line with college expectations. The successful applicant will also take an active role in the development and growth of the area, particularly in relation to our new AgriSTEM building which offers fantastic learning opportunities relating to renewable energy.

Essential qualifications/skills/experience required include:

  • Plumbing qualification at level 3 or Advanced Craft.
  • Hold or be willing to undertake a teacher training course (Dttls/Pttls, Cert ed)
  • Hold or be willing to undertake training towards achieving an assessor/internal verifier qualification eg: D32, D33, D34, A1, V1, TAQA
  • Relevant industrial experience in the plumbing and construction sector.
