We provide Further Education and Higher Education at our Campuses at Bishop Burton College near Beverley and at Riseholme College near Lincoln which includes a brand new Showground Campus featuring state of the art teaching environments, engineering workshops, sports facilities, world class laboratories and an industry leading animal management unit. At our Bishop Burton campus we have undergone a multi-million pound campus development programme including significant investment in state of the art teaching and learning facilities and a commercially run farm which includes dairy, sheep, beef, a suckler herd and pigs as well as farming 350 hectares.
You will be responsible for ensuring the College farm activities can be accessed by students on agricultural courses and you will be a key link between farm activities and the student curriculum. You will organise practical sessions and regular duties ensuring students benefit from the real working experience offered by the College farm by developing those skills valued by employers.
You will have experience working within the Agricultural industry and be qualified to Level 3 in a related subject. You will also be an excellent communicator, very well organised and have a range of practical skills that will enable you to enjoy, confidently manage and support the teaching and learning of groups of students from the age of 16 years.
