The Norwood School wishes to appoint a Premises Manager with responsibility for the cleaning services. The successful candidate will work closely with the school Facilities Manager in the development and maintenance of our school premises, grounds and 3G football pitches. S/he will support the Facilities Manager in all of his/her duties and responsibilities and will deputise for him/her in his/her absence. S/he will also have overall responsibility for the cleaning service within the school. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious individual keen to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to become a Facilities Manager in the future.

 

The standard of Facilities Management in the school is excellent. Staff are proud of their work and the contribution they make to pupil achievement and enjoyment of school.

 

Applicants must be hardworking, have good people skills, be a team player with leadership potential and have good communication, numerical and IT skills. Applications are welcome from individuals with previous building maintenance/DIY skills, awareness of health and safety procedures and experience of managing people and/or premises.

Located in West Norwood, South London, The Norwood School is a Local Authority, mixed secondary school with a Performing and Visual Arts specialism. There are 1100 students on roll including a sixth form of 200 students.
