PREMISES SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Scale 2 point 3-4     

£21,783 - £22,179 p.a. pro rata

25 hrs per week, Term Time only + 6 weeks

Monday to Friday 2pm to 7pm

Do you have the following skills?

• Handyman skills for woodwork, decorating, general DIY, plumbing
• Experience of working as part of a team 
• Organisational - prioritising the workload accordingly with adherence to child safety at all times
• The ability to meet the physical demands of the post 
• Ability to work at high levels unsupervised.
• Ability for some heavy lifting

We are seeking to recruit a motivated Premises Support Assistant to enable the smooth and safe running of our school.  

Duties include:

• Security of the school premises 

• To carry out such minor maintenance work and repairs that do not require the
       employment of a contractor.

• Working with the Premises Assistant on larger jobs requiring greater manpower 

• Liaison with maintenance contractors visiting the school

• To undertake such cleaning tasks as required

• To assist in ensuring an efficient porterage service

• To ensure that playgrounds, paths and driveways are in a satisfactory condition. Snow clearing and salting as required

Hours of work will be 2pm to 7pm. School holiday working hours will differ.  Overtime will be available for weekend/evening events.
