We are seeking a School Officer to work 25 hours per week in supporting our learners in Prep at St Brigid's Primary School. The position will encompass a diverse range of tasks within our Prep classroom setting. The successful applicant will display proven communication and interpersonal skills; an understanding of an engaging Early Years approach to education. An ability to show initiative in working collaboratively as part of a team, building relational trust and a commitment to the Catholic Ethos of St Brigid's Primary School is essential.
St Brigid's School is co-educational Catholic primary school situated in Nerang in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland, with an approximate enrolment of 410 students. The school was established in 1994 and is named after St. Brigid, one of the Patron Saints of Ireland. Our motto, "Making Christ Present" is in honour of St. Brigid. Through its curriculum and courses, its celebration and worship rituals, its cultivation of the aesthetics and its Religious Education program, the school attempts to give witness to the essential wholeness of the human experience - social, moral, physical, spiritual and intellectual development.

Employment Conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019
This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
