Primary Classroom Teacher (Maternity Cover) [from 19 Aug 2024 - 24 Jan 2025]

The ideal candidate must:    

• Possess a Bachelor of Education or PGDE/PGCE in Primary Education    
• Have a minimum of 2 years full time teaching in a primary setting    
• Knowledge and experience teaching the UK National Curriculum    
• Be a native level English Speaker    
• Be passionate about children’s learning      
• Plan creative and inspiring lessons, activities and learning environments    
• Be committed to the ethos that all children should make progress regardless of their background or academic ability    
• Have experience of using data from internal assessments and standardized tests and external assessments to track student progress    
• Display a passion and drive for outstanding teaching and learning

In addition, the successful applicant will:     

• Possess a high level of computer literacy    
• Have experience of teaching EAL students    
• Be a team player with a solution-based approach to challenges    
• Be willing to contribute to the wider school life and lead extra-curricular sessions    
• Be a confident communicator and be able to collaborate and direct a classroom educational assistant
