St Maria Goretti School in Inglewood are excited to welcome a Primary Classroom Teacher to their team.

 

The school is a hub of educational excellence in the community of Inglewood, with families choosing to partner with the school for over 70 years. The staff of St Maria Goretti strive to provide students with essential skills and learning experiences that will provide a platform for life-long learning. The staff work in partnership with parents, children and community members to meet the individual needs of each child and empower them to reach their full potential. 

You will be joining a young, vibrant and professional team of educators, who have been acknowledged through various awards, and are focussed on using tried and tested strategies to personalise learning for all.  

The year 2-4 multi-age group of young people are engaged, courteous and emotionally connected to the school and are excited to welcome their new teacher into the St Maria Goretti community.

Located on the banks of the Macintyre Brook, Inglewood is fast becoming an emerging area for olive growing, honey production and is home to an award-winning lavender farm.   

With perfect sunrises and sunsets over Lake Coolmunda, the Inglewood community will often be found enjoying the great outdoors with water sports, fishing, bird watching, camping and hiking on offer.  

Like all good country towns, this social community, also enjoy a number of local festivals and events ranging from trail bike rides, live music in the olive groves and car shows. 

They always welcome new people to their community and you too would soon become a local! 

We are seeking applications from experienced and graduate teachers who will walk this journey with us. Applications from pre-service teachers seeking a pathway to employment through permission to teach are welcomed.
