We are expanding our team and we are currently looking to hire a qualified and experienced primary EAL teacher to work alongside our academic team.
Learn 21 is a start up company based in Phuket, Thailand. We are a sister company of HeadStart International School Phuket and have been operating since 2016. We now have a team of 18 teachers, programmers, video and graphic artist working together full time to build an e-learning platform designed to teach English in Thai primary schools. https://demo.learn21.school/welcome
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic start up team and to be part of an educational project which has potential to have large-scale long term impact on the Thai education system. This post requires a person with qualifications and extensive experience in EAL, TEFL, English, linguistics and detailed curriculum development. We are looking for highly committed team players with drive, energy and passion, who will work to create solutions to complex issues and obstacles. A good sense of humour and an excellent work ethic are essential.
Requirements / Application Details –
• Good working knowledge of primary curriculum and experience of teaching in Thai primary and bilingual schools
• Sound understanding of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)
• Experience of teaching second language learners
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognised university
• A recognised teaching qualification, BEd., PGCE, iPGCSE or Equivalent
• Fluent English speaker
Salary 80,000 baht per month

Headstart International School Phuket is a mixed, mainstream, all-through with sixth-form, international school in Phuket, Thailand. It caters to students aged 2 to 18 and has approximately 1150 pupils enrolled across two campuses on the island.
