We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who believes in continual improvement to join our dynamic Music department. You should have a minimum of two years teaching experience and be prepared to commit a significant amount of time after school to our comprehensive Musical extra-curricular programme. A primary music specialist is required to teach all ages across the primary school. The post will require deliverance of the curriculum in a creative way to develop a love of music.
Apart from being a capable all-round musician, responsibilities will also include running music clubs, leading Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 singing and choirs, assisting with primary assemblies and co-ordinating primary school productions. Candidates who specialize in leading/conducting orchestras and/or choirs would also be highly desirable. The ability to incorporate ICT into the curriculum is essential.
