Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are QTS with experience teaching in Primary Schools.


Contract dates: September 2021 – July 2022


The role

Smart Teachers are seeking to assist a 3-form entry school in East London to look for an enthusiastic Primary Music Teacher to teach across all year groups. The role is full time with the option of going Permanent at the end of the academic year. The successful candidate should have a passion for music and are looking to join a successful growing school. The Music Teacher will be expected to undertake some planning but is walking into a scheme set out by the previous teacher (the school are open to tailoring this with the successful candidate). Experience with SEN is desirable but not essential, the school offer training packages. The position is for September, but the school are open to an earlier start in July for a handover.

Graded ‘Good’ with its last Ofsted report. Recently expanding to a 3-form entry school, the school are growing to cater for the increase in student numbers. Requirements

To be considered for the Primary Music Teacher position, you will:

• Hold a PGCE/QTS or overseas equivalent qualification

• Experience of working within Primary Schools

• Possess a flexible work ethic, be willing to adapt and work to deadlines successfully 

• Experience with SEN desirable but not essential
