Primary PE Teacher / Swimming
Sinakharinwirot University: Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Elementary), Prasarnmit Primary International Program, seeks a fully qualified, experienced and inspirational Primary PE teacher. We are looking for applicants who are energetic, highly inspired and motivated, who are passionate about childcare and education, committed to achieving high standards and creating a stimulating, positive and child-centred learning environment.
The successful candidate will have the ability to teach PE and a variety of sports throughout the school at all levels, from EY1 to Year 4. Main sports include basketball, football and swimming.
Qualifications:
- B.Ed (Hons) with QTS or equivalent (e.g. PGCE, PGDE)
Main Job and Responsibilities:
- Excellent planning, implementation and review of Schemes of Work relating to the PE/swimming curriculum from EY1 through to Y4
- Leading /supporting school teams in coaching and taking part in competitions and events
- Developing a team spirit across all sports
- Helping to promote and develop membership of the ECA Programme
- Develop and promote opportunities for all school teams and individuals
- Experience of teaching PE across primary age ranges
- Enthusiasm to be part of a growing and dynamic school
- Desire to help students to face new challenges and grow in skills and confidence
- Willingness to take risks in order to challenge and inspire students
- Desire to contribute to the extracurricular activities offered to students
- Desire to further develop our sports fixtures with other schools
- Support pupils in their preparations for competitions both individual and team events
- Represent the views of the PE department at School meetings and other meetings as required
