Job overview

We are ready for the next step on our journey.  Are you ready to take us there?

We are looking for a Principal to lead the primary arm of our Year R-13 academy through the next exciting stage of its development to become a system leader in terms of educational outcomes, values-driven leadership and our enriching curriculum offer both inside and outside of the classroom.

Bobby Moore Academy is a thriving and welcoming school community that provides exceptional all-through primary and secondary education for 4-18 year olds, with outstanding cultural and sporting facilities.

Our modern and spacious Primary and Secondary sites are next to the London Stadium in the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.  Since the school was founded in 2017, we have set ambitious academic standards, backed up by exciting enrichment opportunities, whilst nurturing and caring for the well-being of every child.  At capacity, our two sites will accommodate over 1500 pupils, including a sixth form who will access a dedicated study centre.  We currently have over 700 pupils on roll across Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Years 7-10 in the Secondary phase.  The academy will grow year on year to reach full capacity in 2025.

We are a school with a huge heart, enormous ambition for our staff, pupils and wider community and we understand the importance of excellent teacher and leader development.  We encourage applicants to satisfy themselves that they are aligned with our Trust-wide approach to evidence informed practice, teacher-led instruction, warm:strict behaviour and culture and a knowledge-rich curriculum, as these are the cornerstones of our approach and are integral to our educational philosophy.
