Sie werden jede Klasse für 2,5 Tage auf Deutsch alle unterrichten und ein anderer Lehrer wird für den Rest der Woche auf Englisch unterrichten. Unterrichtsfächer der Primarstufe werden dabei normalerweise zwischen den Lehrern aufgeteilt und Mathe wird im Team unterrichtet.

The German teacher will teach exclusively in German and cover the European School's curriculum enhanced, where necessary, by elements made compulsory by UK legislation.

We are looking for someone:
• With C2 (European Common Framework) level in German and who is able to communicate in English as the common language of the school
• Able to teach exclusively in the target language
• Adaptable to our unique timetabling
• Able to take on our unique curriculum
• Collaborative as you will work with a partner teacher
• With excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• With UK Qualified Teacher Status or the equivalent status from another EU state.
The classes will be on a Wednesday afternoon, and all day Thursday and Friday.

Europa School UK is unique, it is a UK state school which offers a bilingual education from four to 18.
September 2017 saw ESUK open the Secondary School, the final stage of a phased opening which began in 2012 with key stage 1. We offer a multilingual and multicultural education, with children taught in English and also either German, French or Spanish via full immersion. The centrepiece of the Secondary School is the beautiful grade-II listed buildings of Culham College which hosted a European School from 1978 to 2017. The school is set in rural Oxfordshire but near Oxford and Abingdon. Europa has recently undergone a substantial capital works project funded by the DfE and in the coming year they will also build a new 8 classroom block for the primary section. There is onsite parking and good cycle access.
