Vision for Education are helping a school in  seeking to appoint a full time SEN Primary Teacher to join a successful SEN school in Chorley. This will be a full time, Special Educational Needs Teacher role commencing in December 2018 or January 2019. The successful applicant will be taken on to complete the maternity cover.

The School is a co-educational, independent, specialist day school in Lancashire, providing high quality education for children between the ages of 5 and 11. The school caters for pupils with a range of needs including autism; social and emotional needs; and speech, language and communication difficulties.

This is an inclusive and well known SEN primary school who are looking for a committed and successful practitioner to join their motivated and inclusive team. The school has state of the art facilities and a supportive, driven and successful teaching and management team. The wider community is highly supportive of the school.

They are looking for a qualified teacher with experience of teaching children with ASC and MLD.

The successful SEN Primary Teacher will have excellent knowledge of working with children in Primary Education, and ideally will have more than a years’ experience working with children with SEND. The desired SEN Teacher will be working closely with the SENDCO and senior leadership team to deliver the best possible care for the children under their care.

To be considered for the position of Primary SEND Teacher you must:

  • Have      experience teaching children in primary or secondary education 
  • Hold      QTS
  • Have      a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of SEN School Staff
  • Have      a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring      lessons
