Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity and would you like to be part of a growing team? Rome International School is now looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Primary Teacher to join our friendly and motivated team, commencing September 2024.


Overview of the role

We are seeking an excellent educator to join our teaching staff in Rome. You’ll be an experienced Primary teacher or an enthusiastic ECT, delivering the foundation phase curriculum whilst planning, preparing and teaching lessons; an understanding of classroom management, curriculum knowledge and delivery of feedback is key.


Key requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
  • Passion and commitment for inspiring through teaching and learning
  • Solid knowledge of the foundation phase in line with the relevant curriculum
  • The ability to build on and develop existing best practice knowledge
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • interested in contributing and working towards the future development of the school;
  • flexible, positive and open-minded;
  • willing to share ideas and work closely with our team of dedicated, enthusiastic professionals;
  • keen to live and work in Italy;
  • Moher tongue or equivalent level of English required for this role.


Selected candidates will be invited to a long list interview via remote methods.

Short list interviews will take place via remote methods and the successful candidate will be required to provide original documents and certificates
