Primary Teacher - Key Stage 2

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated class teacher to join our friendly and supportive Key Stage 2 staff team.

New Forest School is an outstanding, small independent school with an excellent reputation for working with vulnerable students with ASD, attachment difficulties, social, emotional and mental health needs and challenging behaviours.

Students and staff benefit from access to excellent facilities on our split site school, including access to our school farm and Outdoor Learning Centre. Extremely small class sizes and high staff ratios allow us to provide highly bespoke and individualised educational provision to our students with additional support provided from our therapy and pastoral teams.

Previous experience of working in an SEN setting is desirable, but not essential, as full support/training will be provided for the right candidate.

Skills and requirements:

• QTS or equivalent required.
• Proven teaching experience.
• Desire to working in an SEN setting.
• Effective communication skills and ability to build good relationships.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• Passionate about providing quality education, care and support to young people.
• Full UK driving licence – desirable.
