Brains International Schools has been established for over 40 years, providing quality education for children aged 1 to 18 years. Ours is a school which prides itself on innovation, technology, sports and languages. Located in Madrid, Spain, we are currently seeking a teacher of Music for our Primary Department to begin in September 2021.
The school is bilingual (English/Spanish) at all stages, and follows the Spanish Curriculum in Primary, where we have implemented the IB PrimaryYears Programme.
All applicants should be :
a fluent English speaker
a fully qualified Primary music teacher, with certification from a recognised national body, preferably with qualifications validated by the Spanish Department of Education, Culture and Sport.
A knowledge of project based learning, experience in PYP world schools, the use of technology in the classroom and the ability to work as part of a large team are highly valued attributes in our school.
A knowledge of Spanish will be seen as advantageous, but certainly not necessary. We are ideally looking for professionals who plan to remain in Madrid medium to long term.
