Limpsfield Grange is an innovative outstanding (OFSTED July 18) special school for girls aged 11 - 16, as featured in the ITV documentary “Girls with Autism” (July 15). Our students at Limpsfield Grange have also written two novels, “M is for Autism” and “M in the Middle.” The girls have communication and interaction difficulties, and many have autism.

We are looking for a primary qualified teacher to join our teaching community to teach a range of subjects. 

The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher with experience in the primary or special sectors. NQTs are also welcome to apply.

About Limpsfield Grange School

Limpsfield Grange School is a residential special school for girls aged 11-16 with communication and interaction difficulties who benefit from the breadth of the full mainstream curriculum, but due to the anxiety arising from their sensory, social and communication difficulties are unable to manage the mainstream school environment.  We offer both day and residential places.

At Limpsfield Grange we work alongside our students to develop their confidence, their communication, independence and self-management skills and their knowledge.

We focus on helping our students to develop their identity and sense of self-esteem.  Our aim is to enhance the emotional and mental resilience of our students, which will enable them to be independent and active citizens in the future.

We embrace diversity and celebrate difference in all that we do.

We want our students to have the ability to make choices as adults to that they choose

We provide access to a mainstream curriculum, GCSE qualifications, work experience and college experiences.  We offer a full and rounded range of subjects for students from Year 7 through to Year 11.
