Job overview

Who we are looking for:

You will have a sound understanding of autism and how to modify the curriculum for pupils with Autism and complex needs.

You will be an experienced primary or early years Teacher with a good knowledge of SEN and specifically Autism.

You will have the ability to plan and deliver a personalised curriculum that is relevant and motivating.

You will have a good understanding of child development and be able to recognise and implement the appropriate stages of early literacy and numeracy skills.

You will be responsible for a curriculum area and be expected to drive your subject forward in consultation with Senior Leaders.

You will lead a team of Teaching Assistants who will work within your class.

You will liaise with our pupil support team including Speech and Language Therapists and ensure that appropriate strategies are implemented consistently and appropriately.
