PRIMARY TEACHER VACANCY to cover maternity leave

until September 2021 or the return of the staff member 

whichever is the sooner

Hours: Full time 

Salary: MPS/UPS plus SEN Allowance

Who we are looking for

You will be an experienced primary or early years Teacher with a good knowledge of SEN and specifically Autism.

As well as possessing Qualified Teacher Status, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver a personalised curriculum to individuals, you will have experience of or an interest in working with children with complex needs (ADHD, OCD and PDA) in addition to autism spectrum disorder.

You will be responsible for planning, implementing and delivering a personalised curriculum to a group of children, which is relevant and motivating for each child, as well as ensuring that the quality of teaching and learning is of the highest level possible and meets all statutory requirements. You will have a good understanding of child development and be able to recognise and implement the appropriate stages of early literacy and numeracy skills. You will be responsible and lead on a curriculum area. You will line manage and lead a team of teaching assistants.
