About the College
Formed from the recent merger of City of Westminster College and the College of North West London, the United Colleges Group (UCG) is based at the heart of the education sector in London. With both Colleges within the group having received a Good rating in their most recent Ofsted inspections, and with a combined turnover of c£50m, the Group has both the ambition and strength to create a lasting difference in the local communities it serves, and beyond.
About the Roles
Though part of the UCG, each College will continue to operate under their well-established ‘brands’ and we seek to attract two exceptional strategic leaders to hold the role of Principal at each college. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, as the strategic and operational leads for the Group, you will have the vision and integrity to ensure an outstanding educational experience for every learner and will be committed to maximising their potential to continue their journey into training, higher education, and employment.
About the Candidate
As a currently serving senior leader in the education sector, this should be the next natural step in your career. You will be motivated by the autonomy and accountability that comes with the role of Principal, and excited by the challenge of being part of something new. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of improving the quality of teaching and learning as well as increasing learner satisfaction, and you will have extensive experience of leading the curriculum planning and review processes, ensuring the colleges’ offerings are fit for purpose in an ever-changing sector landscape and economy.
For a confidential discussion about the roles, please contact our retained consultant, Reece Turner at Morgan Hunt on 0207 419 8910.
To apply, please send your CV and a two-page supporting statement highlighting your key achievements in your career to date to ucgprincipal@morganhunt.com.
Closing date | Sunday 26th November 2017
Interview dates | Tuesday 12th December and Wednesday 13th December 2017
