The Governing Body of Dame Allan’s Schools invite applications for the role of Principal to succeed Dr John Hind in September 2020 following sixteen years of exceptional service.

Dame Allan’s Schools were founded in 1705 and are today one of the leading independent schools in Newcastle upon Tyne. Educating around 1,110 girls and boys across two sites, Dame Allan’s is unique in being the only school in the region to offer the pioneering Diamond Structure; co-educational learning in the Junior School is followed by single-sex education in the Girls’ and Boys’ Schools, before moving back to co-educational learning in the Sixth Form.
