Strive for outstanding
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptionally talented and ambitious leader; a strong team and foundations are already in place and it’s the right time for a fresh approach to move The Rawlett School on to the next stage of its journey.
The successful applicant will build on our successes, maintain and strengthen our outcomes for students. Like us, you will be passionately committed to inspiring young people to make their best better.
Rawlett is committed to inclusion and parental choice means we’ve been oversubscribed in recent years. Significant new build has started within catchment which will substantially increase pupil numbers. We are currently developing plans with Staffordshire County Council to accommodate the additional numbers on roll.
This will be a highly rewarding role with the potential to make a significant and sustained impact on our school and community in which it sits.
You must be ambitious and able to:
- Have incredibly high expectations for yourself and others
- Be excited by being part of a dynamic team
- Commit to our children and accept that only the best is good enough
The Rawlett School is part of Academies Enterprise Trust (AET), a network of 64 primary, secondary and special academies. As a member of our network, we can offer you a professional learning journey, tailored to your individual needs. Our new Principal will enjoy the autonomy of headship whilst working in partnership with the regional cluster of academies and our Director of Secondary, with support from a committed local governing body.
Visits to the academy are warmly encouraged and can be arranged by contacting Jo Grabowska, Recruitment Manager at Tes, on 020 3194 3085 or firstname.lastname@example.org
