Private Teacher for Primary Student

Danish Family Seeking a Private Teacher for Primary Student in Malaysia, Jan - July 2019

We are looking to employ a private Primary teacher for the second and third trimester, Jan - July 2019, to teach our 6-year old daughter at our home on a plantation in the Malaysian countryside, two hours north of Kuala Lumpur.

Our daughter is already enrolled with a British international school in KL, where she will be studying from August 2018 to January 2019. She will continue with the curriculum as provided by the school, and there will be close communication with the school.

Skills
The candidate must have a degree in primary teaching and be able to teach all subjects of Year Two, including sports and religion. He or she must be proactive and driven, reliable and thorough and have a positive perspective on life. As it will be only the Teacher and our daughter in the class, the candidate needs to be able to make teaching fun, creative and down to earth, whilst still upholding the professional standards of a conventional school.

As we are living in the countryside, it will be important that the candidate can be comfortable and independent in a tranquil environment. He or she must be a person who enjoys the outdoors, sports, different cultural experiences in a multiracial society and who upholds good moral values.

Housing and Remuneration
Housing in the beautiful environment on the plantation will be provided for as well as a fair remuneration package.
Holidays will follow the school calendar.
