Salary Range: Grade 4 ($82,210 - $89,686 + Superannuation)

Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra & Goulburn plays an integral role in education both in the ACT and NSW operating 56 Schools and 8 Early Learning Centres.

About the Role

The position is formally called the SOLS Program School Support Officer and is co-responsible for the training of a new School Administration System across a system of schools. The incumbent will provide training across multiple modes, both remotely and onsite with schools in partnership with school resources and existing ICT tech resources. The incumbent will be well supported by a collaborative project team and will have a support network of other Program Officers.

About you

We are seeking a well-organised applicant with strong people skills, who is able to establish and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders. You’ll have a passion for training others, ideally you have experience in the roll-out of an information technology system in the past and have a broad understanding of the development of training material.

Essential Criteria

  • Have high level communication skills both written and oral including the ability to proactively engage and work with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Well-developed conceptual and analytical skills including demonstrated ability to interpret, analyse and present project initiatives
  • Work collaboratively, demonstrating the ability to work well with others and engenders a spirit of trust and teamwork
  • Show self-discipline and ability to manage time effectively whilst demonstrating a strong work ethic that enables the timely delivery of key objectives
  • Proven technical competency e.g. being able to use a range of software including Microsoft Office. Level of proficiency dependant on the position
  • Strong organisation, planning and time management skills
