An exciting opportunity has become available to undertake the role of Programme Leader in Foundation Learning, Health & Social Care and Childcare. The successful post holder will assist the Director of Curriculum in the operational day to day running of the area and will be expected to teach an appropriate caseload within the designated curriculum area. We are looking for someone to grow the department and as such we will be launching a nursing cadets course, in conjunction with the local hospital, for 2019. The post holder will also be expected to undertake line management duties. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to advance their career to the next step of management.
The post holder will need to possess a degree or equivalent / professional qualification in a related field. You must have a full teaching qualification to current national standards.
The post holder must also have the ability to demonstrate experience of delivering on a range of programmes and developing, implementing and monitoring quality assurance processes and procedures as well as demonstrate a sound understanding of the qualities of good teaching and effective learning, including different teaching and learning styles, and how these apply to promoting learner experience. The post holder must also be able to demonstrate excellent team working skills and the ability to work under pressure.
