Progress Support Assistant (L2)
Salary: Grade 3-4 (dependant on experience)
G3 £18,887 - £19,650 pro rata (£16,083 to £16,732 actual)
G4 £19,650 - £20,444 pro rata (£16,732 to £17,409 actual)
Contract: Term time only, plus 5 additional training days (195 days), 37 hours a week
Start date: September 2022
The Role:
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic & friendly Level 2 Progress Support Assistant
at Sirius Academy West to assist in the planning, development and implementation of curriculum activities and to provide support to students.
Please see job description for principal accountabilities which include assisting students with personal self-care and medical needs, assist in the development of differentiation for classroom activities, support students and provide pastoral and emotional support & provide information on observed student welfare and progress to managers to inform meetings with external agencies when required including for SEND reviews and safeguarding meetings. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal sensitively with young people. We are an Academy where students are supported by outstanding behavioural and inclusion teams.
