Creative Media is delivered as a specialism within the Media, Performing Arts and Music department. Courses are delivered offsite with-in a specialist creative environment named The MUSE academy.
The Media Production provision seeks a highly motivated Creative Media specialist to deliver ABC and UAL Level 2/3 Creative Media and Technology specifications. The ideal candidate must have experience of the use of Adobe creative tools and experience of working within a creative environment.
The post will involve the Course management, marketing, delivery and assessment of a range of courses across the College curriculum in the areas of Media and Film up to Level 3.
A degree or equivalent in Media/Media Production or a related subject is essential, as is a Teaching Qualification to Cert Ed/PGCE or equivalent (or a willingness to undertake a formal teaching qualification to required national standards). Recent experience of teaching/training young people, and recent relevant industy experience in the area of moving image production, including the use of specialist equipment is required.

Annual leave
Academic staff are entitled to 40 days per annum (pro rata for part time staff) for the academic year 01 September to 31 August and this is in addition to the Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in England and Wales.
Business Support staff are entitled to 30 days per annum (pro rata for part time staff) for the academic year 01 September to 31 August and this is in addition to the Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in England and Wales.
College Management Team are entitled to 35 days per annum (pro rata for part time staff) for the academic year 01 September to 31 August and this is in addition to the Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in England and Wales.
The College is closed for 2 weeks during the student Christmas break during which time all staff are granted additional leave to be taken at this time.
