PUBLIC EXAMINATION INVIGILATORS
We are seeking to recruit new Examination Invigilators to join our existing team of experienced staff. Invigilators work on a 'casual' basis during exam periods.
Examinations at St Albans High School for Girls are administered by the Exams Officer with a team of approximately 15 invigilators. The key examination period is May and June and Invigilators are expected to make a reasonable commitment to make themselves available throughout this time.
Invigilator sessions are usually divided into morning and afternoon sessions. Morning sessions start at 8.30 am and afternoon sessions will finish at 4.30 pm (occasionally later). We are willing to consider applications from applicants that are able to work either or both sessions.
Training sessions are held for new invigilators.
Details of the role and application process are available on the school’s website www.stahs.org.uk/Vacancies.
The High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
