Job overview

We are seeking to appoint a creative thinker who is versatile and well organised and can promote the school in the wider community.  You will be highly motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver marketing communications across a variety of channels including websites, email, print and social media.

Applicants must possess:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE's at Grace C and above, including English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications
  • Graphic Design software experience
  • Photography and editing skills
  • Videography skills
  • Knowledge of Wordpress CMS Build/Implementation
  • Good organisational skills
  • A high standard of both written and oral communication skills

Wellfield School is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school without sixth form situated in Wingate, County Durham. It is a community state school that provides 1,200 places for students between the ages of 11 and 16 when fully subscribed.  Wellfield School is part of New College Durham Academies Trust.
