Location: Brantridge School 

Working Pattern: 36hrs per week (8.30am – 4.15pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am – 4pm on Fri), Term Time Only  

Brantridge School is a special school catering for boys with Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH) and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) from ages 6-12. 

The school is located in an adapted country manor house on impressive grounds near Haywards Heath in the Sussex Weald and offers its pupils an exciting programme of outdoor learning on site. It strives to provide a curriculum that is flexible and personalised to facilitate a community where individuals flourish and achieve their full potential.

We are seeking a Pupil Support Assistant to work as part of our Pupil Support Team. 

Job Purpose and Scope: 

  • To assist in providing a complementary service that enhances existing provision in order to facilitate learning, reduce barriers to learning, improve attainment, educational outcomes and promote self-confidence and the emotional well-being of pupils.  

 

  • To assist in promoting and support education staff deliver learning pathways for pupils to encourage engagement in learning.  

 

  • To assist in contributing to school wide knowledge and skills in behaviour management.
