Pupil Support Teacher

Pupil Support Teacher 0.4FTE (Fixed Term until 18 August 2019)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher to have a key role in the development of our new learning Hub. You will liaise with class teachers, parents and the children to develop high quality and engaging learning experiences for a wide range of children who have a variety of learning needs. You will work with Pupil Support Assistants to create and deliver targeted interventions focusing on the development of skills such as self-regulation, social communication and resilience as well as developing programmes of work to develop skills for life and work.

The suitable applicant should be highly motivated, flexible and be able to demonstrate excellent inter personal skills. Being an excellent team player is a key feature of this post. Experience in planning and implementing highly differentiated and elaborated curriculum would be beneficial. The individual will be highly skilled in listening and responding to learners' needs demonstrating the skills, qualities and enthusiasm to further develop and build on the existing high standards of learner experiences within our school. The candidate will be highly committed to promoting and further developing the already strong ethos of inclusion at RDM.
