Our client is a leading provider of residential care, education and vocational packages to children, young people and adults with complex needs, including autism.
We are looking for a Quality & Compliance Officer for their children’s services to work as part of the group’s Quality Team. You will conduct regulatory-based inspections of our client’s children’s services to make sure they are operating in line with statutory requirements and nationally agreed best practice for children’s social care services.
Your role will be to carry out specific tasks and duties including; brief writing, report writing, analysis, investigation/root cause analysis and ad hoc project assignments.
You should hold a relevant qualification in Social work, nursing or an equivalent relevant qualification. You will have an in depth knowledge of the relevant sections of the Children Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000, and Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015.
You will have the ability and skills to manage and further develop their IT based quality monitoring systems. We are looking for someone who has current experience at an operational level within a compliance, contract monitoring or commissioning role.
